    Close to the city but nice and secluded. Get picnic spot.

    We had great picnic there. We were the biggest number and always worried about noise but all neighbours were so cool. A ranger pick up van passed by and rangers waved at us. Thanks to the guy at Forestry SA call centre who gave us information about this great picnic spot.As we were used to with pit toilet it reignited our memory of living in Nepal.

    We camped here for a night and it was great. Dont forget to pay the fee at the ranger station 2 km from the venue entrance. I think the best spot to camp is on the left 10 metres after the toilet (by the fire pit).

    Great spot to have a camp fire without roughing it plenty of woodlands to set up with fire pits well done forestry sa so cheap as well
